Purpose and use
One clarification first, because the two names are easily confused: Honeywell Vertex™ is a product of Honeywell International Inc. VERTEX GmbH is the independent German company that delivers, installs and services it, registered in Krefeld in 2020 under HRB 17755. Supplier and product happen to share a name.
The system supports up to 72 points of simultaneous monitoring and detects over 40 gas types. Built-in redundancy and advanced diagnostics minimise downtime — the reason the platform is specified for mission-critical applications where a monitoring outage stops production rather than merely raising a maintenance ticket. Chemcassette® is the detection principle behind it: a flow-through method that creates well-defined, consistent stains even at low concentrations by ensuring the gas flows through the chemical bed of the tape.
