Procurement and construction (EPC)
For projects where the operator does not want to coordinate a distributor, an engineering office, an installer and a commissioning engineer, we take the whole scope under one contract.
How we work
What this service covers
The construction part of a gas detection project is rarely the equipment. It is cable routes, mounting structures, junction boxes, glands, the interface to the control system, and the coordination with whatever else is happening in that area during a shutdown. Those items are where uncoordinated projects lose their schedule.
Procurement covers more than the Honeywell devices: the balance of the installation, from cable and mounting material to the parts of the system that come from other manufacturers. Our component business is the reason we can source that quickly rather than passing the operator a list of items to order themselves.
Commissioning ends with a functional test of the complete alarm chain — detector, controller, output, and whatever the output is supposed to trigger — documented in a form that the operator can present.

Where our scope ends
- Civil and structural work is coordinated but quoted separately where required.
- Work in classified areas follows the operator's permit system; we plan for it rather than around it.
- Where a third party retains part of the scope, the interface is defined in writing before work starts.

Can you work inside a shutdown window?
That is the normal case for retrofit work, and it is a planning question rather than a technical one: what can be prepared beforehand, what genuinely needs the plant to be down, and what can be commissioned afterwards. We plan the sequence with the operator instead of arriving with a fixed schedule.
What does handover include?
The functional test record of the whole alarm chain, the calibration records, the as-built documentation, the spare parts and consumables list, and operator training on the delivered equipment.
