Spare parts and consumables
Two different tasks share one name. One is keeping consumables flowing so that a monitoring system never stops. The other is finding a part for a machine whose manufacturer no longer exists.
How we work
What this service covers
The consumable side is a planning exercise. Sensors, filters, batteries, Chemcassette® tapes, sampling tubing and test gas all have a known consumption, and the cost of running out is far higher than the cost of holding a small stock. We forecast it against your installed base and deliver against that forecast instead of against an emergency call.
The identification side is the older part of our business. Send the manufacturer and type designation if you have them; if you do not, a photograph of the type plate, a drawing, a dimensional sketch or the old part itself is enough to start. Where an original is no longer available, we propose a technically equivalent replacement and document the substitution, so that the plant documentation stays correct for the next person who has to order it.

- Where a part cannot be identified reliably from the information available, we say so and propose what is needed to identify it.

We have no documentation for the part. Can you still find it?
Frequently yes. A photograph of the type plate, a drawing, a dimensional sketch or the old part itself is usually enough to start the identification. It is a large part of our daily work.
The original part is discontinued. What then?
We propose a technically equivalent replacement, state clearly where it differs, and document the substitution so that your plant documentation stays correct. We do not supply a substitute as if it were the original.
