Which measurements does the Honeywell field instrument range cover?
Pressure, temperature, level and flow as the four core process variables, plus multivariable transmitters that combine differential pressure, static pressure and temperature in one device and calculate compensated flow. Around them sit controllers, recorders and data acquisition, wireless transmitters, analytical instruments for pH, ORP, conductivity and dissolved oxygen, electric actuators and the ControlEdge and Experion control platforms.
Can a single supplier deliver both gas detection and process instrumentation?
That is the reason VERTEX GmbH exists in this form. The two disciplines share the same plant, the same cable routes, the same control system and often the same shutdown window, but they are usually bought from different suppliers and installed by different contractors. We quote them as one scope.
Do you support instrumentation that is already installed?
Yes. We identify the installed devices, check what is still supported by the manufacturer, and propose a route: replacing transmitters while keeping the cabling, migrating to a current generation, or adding measuring points. Spare parts supply for installed instrumentation is part of our daily work.
What decides whether a flow measurement reaches its stated accuracy?
Rarely the transmitter. The primary element, the straight inlet and outlet runs, the impulse lines and the mounting position decide it. We check those conditions before quoting a device, because an accurate instrument installed into unsuitable conditions produces precise numbers that are wrong.
