IntelliDox™ docking system

IntelliDox™ is the automated instrument management system for the Honeywell BW™ range. It performs bump tests and calibrations, records the results, and keeps a fleet compliant without anyone maintaining a spreadsheet.

What it is

Purpose and use

The weak point of every portable gas detection fleet is not the instrument. It is the evidence that the instrument was working on the day it mattered. A docking station converts that from a human routine into a process: the worker puts the device in the dock, the dock tests it, and the record exists whether or not anyone remembered to write it down.

Combined with Honeywell Safety Suite, the docking data feeds fleet management, scheduled reports, firmware updates and compliance alerts for instruments that are out of date.

FAQ

Questions about IntelliDox™ docking system

Does a docking station pay for itself?

In most fleets, yes — but the saving is in labour and audit risk, not in hardware. Manual bump testing of a fleet of thirty instruments is a recurring task that has to be documented; a dock does the same work and produces the record automatically.

What keeps the docking routine running day to day?

Test gas. The most common cause of a stopped calibration routine is an empty cylinder, which is why we plan the gas supply against actual consumption instead of reacting to an empty bottle.
